Movin' Right Along

I know I've neglected this, and as part of my New Year's resolution, I'm trying to be better about staying on top of things. Life is just so hectic right now, it's hard to find the time to sit down at night after work, feeding Evan and ourselves, spending some quality time with him, giving him a bath and putting him to bed. It's close to 9 nowadays before I can focus on any possible "me" time.

So, as most of you know, we sold our house at the beginning of December and decided to build a new home. We're so excited about it and can't believe how lucky we were to sell our house in this crappy housing market. Especially when we pretty much had a contract on it within the first week of it being on the market. GOD is good.

Here are a few pictures from the current construction. These guys have been working their tails off, and the weather has been absolutely gorgeous most days. I can't believe we haven't had any hiccups along the way.







I'll post more pictures as we continue to go out to check on things. We should start pre-drywall stage at the beginning of next month.
